Pilates - Graceful  Method

Xenia takes  a contemporary approach to Pilates. Her teachings incorporate modern exercise principles and practices in biomechanics, as accepted by physical therapists and other health professionals. Emphasis is on restoring the natural curves of the spine and rebalancing the muscles around the joints. This makes for a safe and effective workout experience, applicable to many purposes and appropriate for all body types and abilities.


Ballet for Adults 

Xenia  shares her love for this beautiful dance art style for every adult body. those who have done ballet and want to come back , those who always wanted to but were not able to or could not afford it, those who just love to dance . The class is designed around the adult body aiming to deliver a  great workout respectful to the dance art style  of ballet but without extreme movements 

PROGRESSING BALLET TECHNIQUE

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students' technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. It is a unique training system using ballet-technique specific exercises to train skill acquisition in a graded and progressive manner from junior through to advanced levels. PBT helps teachers around the world prepare their students to receive the strength they need to achieve their personal best.

The program helps with injury prevention and rehabilitation and enhances the ability of athletes to perform at their best. It can be difficult for students to feel which muscles initiate the correct alignment in training. However, with the use of an exercise ball, the students gain a great sense of posture and weight-placement whilst feeling each correct muscle group working throughout each exercise, which then stays with them when whilst performing in dance or their chosen field of sport

PBT focuses on core strength, weight placement and alignment of the body with a gradual approach of carefully designed exercises and repetitions of these exercises that trigger their muscle memory. The program is designed with safe dance methodology to promote a long, healthy career and is now being taught by over 4000+ certified teachers worldwide and over 3500 schools globally have added PBT classes in their curriculum for students.

PBT is not only a program to improve technique in ballet dancers, it is now being appreciated and incorporated in training by all forms of dancers, athletes, physiotherapists and even footballers!

 

          Yoga Flow -  Strong Fluid Practice

Xenia offers a practice for body and mind conditioning. It is designed to build a healthy balance of flexibility, strength, agility, and grace, bringing your body, mind and life back into harmony. Like a dynamic dance,  Yoga Flow practice integrates asanas (yoga postures) and flowing breath to bring about a transformative and balancing effect of your body, mind and spirit. Here one movement flows into the other keeping the integrity of the the asana practice. Special attention is brought into the core with the most important element in our being,Our Breath

Yoga Dance

 

A Practice that incorporates the physicality and grace of dance. with aspects of the yoga asana and dance styles to stretch and align the body with rhythm and flow!

Connected Warriors offers free trauma-conscious yoga classes to service members, veterans, and their families. The program has over 1,200 attendees per month, and is offered in 12 states. The yoga practice is offered at yoga studios, community centers, military bases, Veteran Centers, VA Medical Centers, and partners with 2 university studies.

“The Military teaches our Warriors to be Present in chaos… Connected Warriors teaches our Warriors and their Families to be Present in peace.”

The program is offered free to military family members as well, which gives the veterans more time to bond with their families. The families benefit by being able to connect and share ideas for military benefits, resources and other community groups around their base or town

Barreξ class is a Pilates and Dance Flowing Practice  for a defined and refined body with added elements of functional movement and stretching to walk taller, feel  lengthened, inspired , accomplished Strong , Beautiful and GRACEFUL! ! This class is designed to be practiced  with or without the Barre .This method , focuses on strength, stability, balance and joint mobility., correct technique and focus on all principles of Pilates with elegance and grace)

Bellydance

A unique way to get into shape!  Xenia shares the beauty of this dance as shared to her by her grandmother from Asia Minor. She loves Greek, Turkish and Lebanesse style bellydance, focusing on proper form and allignement but also ON the freedom of the movement itself, this dance form is not a show , it has to really eminate form the heart!  This method , focuses on strength, stability, balance and joint mobility., correct technique and focus on all principles of Pilates with elegance and grace)

 

You will work hundreds of muscles in the body, burn calories and de-stress. 

 All levels are welcome, Beginners learn new way to move and more experienced dancers take this opportunity to refresh their skills and take a diferent approach of their practice! challenging the body and inviting balance and grace!

 

ZUMBA

A dance class true to the core of multi dance genre . Basic steps with lots of variations, progressions and styling with mainstream pop music and authentique music beats. A high energy n intense cardio class low impact and functional!!! Like a morning cup of coffee, to regenerate the body, burn calories and make you SMILE !

Fit Steps is an energetic, up beat dance fitness class featuring all of your favourite strictly dances. It is designed to give real, measurable fitness results. It is suitable for all ages and abilities and you don’t need a partner.

You will have so much fun you won’t even realise you are getting fit!
